Today, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had the honour of presiding over the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed chairman and members of the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC). The event took place at the Council Chamber, Government House, Yola, marking a significant step in the state’s electoral processes.
Addressing the newly sworn-in officials, Governor Fintiri charged them with the responsibility of executing their duties with impartiality and in strict adherence to the Constitution of Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of their roles in ensuring free, fair, and credible elections within the state.
“I had the honour of presiding over the swearing-in of the newly appointed chairman and members of the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC). I charged them to roll up their sleeves and discharge their duties dispassionately and in accordance with the Constitution of Nigeria,” Governor Fintiri stated.
